Durable Powers of Attorney - By State

Powers of Attorney, like Guardianships, are matters of State law. Each U.S. State is different. The names, types, requirements, legal effects and restrictions on Powers of Attorney are different in different states. A qualified attorney in the state(s) where your elderly loved one resides and has property should be consulted.
