Nominations Open for 2013 Nursing Distinction Awards - Palm Healthcare Foundation

 The Palm Healthcare Foundation, Inc. has announced that nominations are now open for the 2013 Nursing Distinction Awards, sponsored by the Foundation and the Palm Beach Post.
According to the Foundation, “The Palm Healthcare Foundation Nursing Distinction Awards is Palm Beach County’s signature event to recognize outstanding nurses and their compassionate and courageous work.”
“Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and Nursing Students working in Palm Beach County healthcare settings are eligible for nomination.”
From the winners in each of several categories, one registered nurse will be selected as the 2013 Nurse of the Year. The winner will receive a grand prize of $1,000 and a weekend stay at The Breakers Palm Beach hotel.
The deadline for nominations is Monday, January 28, 2013 at 11:59 p.m.
The winners will be announced at the 2013 Annual Nursing Celebration Dinner to be held on May 3, 2013 (6:30 PM – 11:30 PM) at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida.
