In summary, these include: (1) Clean your hands with soap and warm water, (2) make sure health care providers clean their hands or wear gloves, (3) cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze, (4) if you are sick avoid close contact with others (especially your elderly loved one), and (5) get shots to avoid disease and fight the spread of infection.
