At this time of year, family caregivers for seniors, especially those with Alzheimer’s disease, may not get the break that they deserve and desperately need. Respites can help relieve stress in caregivers, leading to their ability to provide greater care.
Respites can come in a variety of forms from a few hours or an overnight stay when a friend or other family member takes on the caregiving responsibilities.
