Supporting Personhood within Dementia Care: The Theraputic Potential of Personal Photographs

Makes the case for using photographs and photo collages as a biographical tool to assist nursing home staff in familiarizing themselves with residents’ life stories. Found qualitatively to contribute toward person-centered dementia care, supporting a beneficial sense of personhood, with anticipated behavioral improvement, among patients.
