| This tool, provided by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, helps you find and compare nursing homes. It provides detailed information about the past performance of every Medicare and Medicaid certified nursing home in the country. Nursing Homes can be searched by Geography (all nursing homes within a State or County), by Proximity (all nursing homes within a certain distance from a City or Zip Code), or by Name of the nursing home. A significant amount of information is available about each nursing home, including results of the last inspection report, and a data base of statistics covering past performance, as well as Medicare’s rating of the nursing home according to Medicare’s five star rating system. |
