Adult Aural/Audiologic Rehabilitation

American Speech – Language – Hearing Association. Explains the aural/audiologic rehabilitation services available to help a person adjust to his or her hearing loss, including education and counseling on making the best use of hearing aids, exploring assistive devices that might help, managing conversations, taking charge of your communication and environment to facilitate better communication. Services can be individual, in small groups, or a combination of both. Links to senior support groups which are helpful to some.
