Squamous cell carcinoma of the skin

DermNet NZ, a website of the New Zealand Dermatological Society.  Provides very good information on the characteristics, causes and appearance (including multiple images) of the different types of squamous cell carcinoma, and the types of treatments used.  Potential treatments for intraepidermal squamous cell carcinoma (often known as Bowen disease), which is confined to the surface of the skin, include cryotherapy, superficial skin surgery,  fluorouracil cream, imiquimod cream, and  photodynamic therapy.  Treatments for invasive squamous cell carcinoma include surgery, such as Mohs micrographic surgery, and Radiotherapy.   Links provide quite extensive information on each potential treatment.
