National Women’s Health Week, May 8-14, 2011
Theme: It’s Your Time

National Women’s Health Week kicks off on Mother’s Day and is a week-long health observance that brings together women, groups, and communities to promote and support women being healthy and safe. Across the country, many will sponsor events at work, school, place of worship, hospitals, clinics, and elsewhere to provide information, screenings, and resources.

Consider sponsoring an event to support women’s health during National Women’s Health Week or during the month of May. You can sponsor a display table, health fair, educational workshop, fitness event, or other type of activity. Add your event(s) to the online activity registry at www.womenshealth.gov/whw. Order free promotional and educational materials to support your efforts.

More information is available at www.womenshealth.gov/whw.
