AARP & NFCA Sponsor Free Webinar on Helping With A Loved One's Financial Affairs

The National Family Caregivers Association (NFCA) and AARP are co-sponsoring a free Webinar on November 30 at 7:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) on the topic: “When It’s Time To Intervene – Helping With A Loved One’s Financial Affairs.”

Here is a description of the Webinar provided by AARP:

“As a caregiver, you play a critical role in your loved one’s day-to-day activities. Oftentimes, however, when faced with major milestones in the caring relationship, there typically is not a lot of information available to you, when you need it most. Situations get increasingly more complex when emotions enter into discussions. Well meaning family members and friends will have their suggestions. Thus, you knowing how and when to intervene and take over your loved one’s financial affairs will help you and your loved one protect their assets. This Webinar will help caregivers understand:
  • What happens to our bodies as we age
  • What to asses when evaluating your situation
  • Recognize signs that something is wrong
  • The need to create a plan for the future
  • How to get help
