Diagnosis is made by a physician and technically depends on the presence of at least two of the three major signs: tremor at rest, rigidity, and bradykinesia, as well as the absence of a secondary cause. Includes a description of some of the simple tests of reactions, reflexes and movements used to check for presence of these symptoms.
